I finally bought some of the things that I've always wanted...my favorite of which is my new rotary cutter. :D

It was 40% off, so I figured I'd go ahead and get it. XD I also got some lovely fabrics, and my favorite one reminds me of the backgrounds from the Sailor Moon manga. I couldn't stop myself.

I really like arts and crafts wayyyy too much. This is what I've been working on since spring break... A crochet bag that is (now) lined. I'm finishing the handles within the next couple of days. :D

I love that last Wednesday when school started back up that it was 7 degrees. Now, today, it is a balmy 60 and I can enjoy fresh air and having my window open. :D

I'm posting what I've posted so far to an anti-choice group, because they might be bastards and delete what I've written up so far. This isn't really in need of comment, since I know I'm right by my beliefs, but it you want to mention any points or ask questions, go for it. Oh, and I'm killing your friend's page. :D

Anybody that knows me well knows that I'm about as pro-choice and feminist as I can get before becoming a butch lesbian (and some people think I'm partially there, I'm sure). The fact that the local, yet to be opened Planned Parenthood is under fire from crazy-ass local Christians already really bothers me. They don't even care about the health rights for women. All they want to do is take the "abortuary" down using any means necessary, including coming up with non-existing words and spreading lies about how abstinence is the cure to unwanted children, all the while being too hypocritical to take on the masses of children that are up for adoption, orphaned or taken in by DCFS. How dare they say that I shouldn't be able to what would be best for me and my child. No, I probably would NEVER have an abortion, however that doesn't mean that it should be illegal. Also, how do the protesters have the audacity to say that is what the community wants? I WANT Planned Parenthood here! But they would never listen to me; I'm just a heathen. I guess it's time for my favorite bumper sticker quote: If you can't trust me with a choice, how can you trust me with a child?

My next favorite topic is religion, and Christianity specifically. How can these people possibly see themselves as good Christians when they don't practice the word of God? Their own supposedly beloved to whom they devote themselves entirely; their personalities, time, and energy. How can they not be benevolent and giving and caring as the man Himself tells them to? It boggles my mind, let me tell you. The reason I am an atheist is because the more I study religion the more it shows me that there is no faith in which corruption and slander and atrocities cease to exist. Humans have potential to be good, yet so many that are devout are the worst people I've ever encountered. You could chalk that up to bad luck I suppose, but I really think it's just the 'sign' of a 'miracle' they are too oblivious to: the enlightened can see past their schemes of attracting followers and actually think for themselves, meaning perhaps some day we can take back this glorious Earth and make something good out of it.

Okay, the 17-year cicadas are supposed to be out in Illinois, but I've yet to hear/see a single one. I'd say that its a good thing except that I like the way they sound. :3

I really ought to be working on my paper/project for topics, which will be on Japanese horror films. First I need to specialize the topic more. Perhaps relating more current Japanese horror movies to social problems in Japan could work, though I definitely don't know enough about day-to-day life in Japan for that. So maybe I'll stick with the compare/contrast to American horror films. Something like that will work.

Can't decide whether or not to take summer school. I probably won't since I didn't take the placement exams and class would start Monday, before I'm done with NCC. I might take next year off. I really should probably go ahead and work on gen eds, but without a goal I feel like its so pointless, like this entire year. :/

I can't wait for a good trip to Six Flags this summer. One without ex-boyfriends or car crashes or Mexican drama or just drama period. We had far too much of that last year. (Though especially the Mexican family drama...)

Amy is apparently back for graduation. I kind of wish I could go, only for Peony, Tiffho, and G, but I have to work. Maybe I'll party with them later. Haha. ^_^

You scored as Nana, You are like NANA. A strong person, full of confidence but inside a total train wreck which makes it hard for you to be really close to people sometimes.
But when you love someone, you are fully, 100% sure it's for life.

The Everything Test

There are many different types of tests on the internet today. Personality tests, purity tests, stereotype tests, political tests. But now, there is one test to rule them all.

Traditionally, online tests would ask certain questions about your musical tastes or clothing for a stereotype, your experiences for a purity test, or deep questions for a personality test. We're turning that upside down - all the questions affect all the results, and we've got some innovative results too! Enjoy :-)

Personality
You are more logical than emotional, more concerned about self than concerned about others, more atheist than religious, more dependent than loner, more lazy than workaholic, more rebel than traditional, more engineering mind than artistic mind, more cynical than idealist, more leader than follower, and more extroverted than introverted.

As for specific personality traits, you are outgoing (100%), adventurious (100%), adventurous (92%), romantic (86%).

Stereotypes
Young Professional82%
Geek80%
Prep77%

Life Experience
Sex56%
Substances3%
Travel38%

Politics
Your political views would best be described as Socialist, whom you agree with around 100% of the time.
  Socioeconomic
Your attitude toward life best associates you with Upper Class. You make more than 0% of those who have taken this test, and 84% less than the U.S. average.

If your life was a movie, it would be rated R.
By the way, your hottness rank is 57%, hotter than 82% of other test takers.

I found that on youtube. It is awesome. Monkey Majik is the band with m-flo. They apparently have two Canadian guys that are former English teachers in the band. Fluent English and Japanese = awesome.

Also, the magnificent Beat Space Nine concert with Whee Sung. <3

I know it is Hollywood, but god damn. Marcia Cross needs to eat something.

Exhibit: A, B

Defined is one thing. Looking like Nicole Richie is another. (Check her ankles out. She looks like she's playing dress up.)

Everytime I take a bite I'll remember why I'm doing so. Because I don't want to look like that.

I'm sitting here in the commuter lounge and they/we've been playing guitar hero for at least an hour now. It's kind of sad but really entertaining. I've figured out that staying all day at school is much better than coming for classes and immediately leaving. It's much easier to become involved and such. And I think I've going to apply for fresman liason for C.O.W. Fun stuff, pushing boundaries.

I applied to Baker's Square for mornings on T, Th, and Sat, and I wish they would call me back sooner than later. :P I'll need another source of income a.s.a.p.

I feel like I should be doing homework, but with tomorrow off I should be able to get some serious work done. I still have to get this evil, VILE calculus bit worked out. I understand she's a first year professor, but damn. When the Calc IV kids are confused, I KNOW I'm in trouble. :O The math chair better figure something out before mutiny comes!

And more important than homework, LOST starts in less than five minutes! I am such a primetime programming whore. I swear.

School started last Monday. Things are pretty sweet so far. I'm taking Inegrated Calc I, Bio-Organic Chem I, and Japanese I. YAY. So, I started off my first week, procrastinating like always, then SHABAM, quiz + homework failure. So I've gotten my ass a bit more in gear, put in my two weeks notice at the Panda Empire (Express, whatever), and am actually cleaning my bedroom. Anybody that knows me knows how frightening that thought is. I'm finding stuff I didn't know I had! Its awesome. I'm also finishing my scarf I brilliantly decided to reknit over the summer. (HAHAHAHA.)

OH! Nana episode 21 just finished downloading. If you've not seen it, you should watch it. It cleans the heart and soul. See ya.

Yay.
Boyfriend is finally no more. I get to go to Six Flags as a free woman! But the other ex-boyfriend will be there. As Daniela says, he'll get to see my uninhibited side. Haha, should be good fun like last year. :D

Going to sleep over at Cheryl's tomorrow and have a cake-baking (Aldo's birthday is Friday) and pencil-case sewwing. All with a healthy side of anime. Should be good fun.

Saturday is Six Flags. YAY! *dances* I'm supposed to work open to close on Sunday. Ahahahahahaha, they think I'm normally zombie-like, wait until they see me after Six Flags. Kekeke. They'll have to push me around the store. XD
